      I would suggest to anyone that is thinking about purchasing a large Glam’r Gear bag to reconsider doing so. Reading the fine print, it tells you that it cannot be used on carpet. What dance comps or hotels that we need to store $$$$ worth of costumes do not have carpet??? Oh, let me store it in my car with a chance of somebody to steal it over a weekend. What do they suggest if they can’t ensure that they’re bag is in good condition?
      And now my daughters bottom of the bag is all ruined because of the wheel, but “it’s not under warranty”
      After a year and a half of use which means a total of nine dance competitions the wheel well on my daughters bag cracked making it inoperable. Reaching out to the company, they will gladly help me but they will charge me $47.75 to fix the issue- I now have to put in metal bars and add new wheels. If it is an issue over and over again with This bag, they should recall the bag and remake the bag. It is as if they know that this bag is an issue for many of their customers. I will not stop reaching out to Dance competition moms to see if they’ve all had this problem- I have pictures to prove that it’s happened to multiple dance families outside of my realm and through social media. I am also filing it with Better Business Bureau.
      Buyer Beware-I’ll continue to make this a public issue. Shame on this company.

      This customer's order was delivered Oct. 15, 2021. The warranty ended Oct. 15, 2022. We had heard nothing whatsoever from the customer until the end of June 2024 about any issues -- almost two years after the warranty had expired.

      The issue that she is mentioning about her frame that supports the wheel having broken is something that we've seen happen a handful of times over the years. It's accounted for about half of 1%... that's less than 0.005 of all bags in use. This is not indicative of a product that should be recalled, but instead is highly indicative of accidental damage caused by the way that the product was used.

      The "fine print" to which the customer is making reference is not fine print. It's an article in the FAQ on our website about wheel care: https://glamrgear.com/apps/help-center#hc-wheels . In this article we mentioned that customers should "avoid rolling [the] bag through carpeted areas, unless it is very low pile carpeting." It certainly does not say to not use the bag on carpet. Most industrial carpets are very low pile carpeting.

      We truly wish that we would have heard from her sooner, so that we could have helped her to avoid complications or further damage to her bag.

      This customer initially contacted us asking to obtain replacement wheels - the additional parts we have suggested to help her account for only $24 of the $47.75 she is mentioning. Even though it's less than half of one percent in which this accidental damage occurs, as a responsible company, we offer replacement/repair parts at a very low price, so that our customers are able to get their bags working again.
