    Shull repeatedly comes to my house to perform yard services such as seeding and fertilizing that we have not asked for. They do not knock to see if we want the service. They then bill us hundreds of dollars for these services. My husband asked them to stop performing services several months ago. Today they showed up and started fertilizing or seeding without knocking on my door to ask if I wanted services. I had to run the person off, and he said he was working because "We were on a list." I told him to take me off the list.

    This is a thoroughly dishonest business practice. If you don't knock to confirm someone would like a service, and then force them to pay for it, you are extorting money from your client.

    Our customers are all on a 4-5 application per year plan, any other extra services are on a call ahead basis. We typically will knock on the door before any service to let the customer know that we are on the lawn. We regret that this did not happen and it has been addressed with staff members. In this particular case, the plan discussions were made with the male of the household and we will certainly reconfirm before anymore services of any kind are provided. Our telephone number is on all of our bills and we are always open to any discussions of service as our aim to have happy and satisfied customers.
