    I received a bill for $297. Great. I received the service and happy to pay. I was in a financial hardship being out of work for nearly two months and called 6-14-24 to see if there was anything they could do to help reduce the bill. They said no. The balance was $297. I paid the balance in full. My husband was notified two days later that a ***** was issued for the bill from his work and they called to pay the balance in full 6-11. I called dreamland again 6-17 to see why they would take my payment when the balance was already paid in full. I was given a weird excuse that the girl who took my payment couldnt see the balance was paid and I was told sorry and a refund would be issued that day. Its July 1. No refund has been issued. I called today July 1 and was told it would be 8-12 weeks for a refund! This is absolutely criminal. I was told the office only issues refunds once a month and Ill get it when I get it.

    Patient paid by check and by credit card. ***** from Medusind billing services refunded the patient in waystar on 7/8/24 and it takes 5 business days, she was never told weeks.

    Looks like when the patient called in to pay by credit card we hadn't received the check payment yet, so it was not processed in the system at that time and was still showing a balance which is why the payment was accepted at that time. 

    The business operates in ************** but uses a third party billing company in ***** to process billing. The patient didnt speak with anyone at the local ********* location only at the Texas billing

    location. No payment has ever taken weeks to process, it has always been 5 business days or less and the patient was refunded within 5 business days.
