June 10,2024, I applied for an apartment at Trotwood Downs with ******* ***************** They requested an employee verification and I gave them my company information on how to verify employment. I was told by the property manager ****** they would not be using that system because it cost/fee. She asked me to email them three paystubs and my w2s for the last two years on June 12,2024. When I called to verify that they received the information, I was told by property manager ******, I needed to bring in the paystub and w2s because they believe they my information was fake. On June 14,2024 my son took the copies to the office. On June 17,2024 I contacted the property manager and she told me I was denied because my check stubs are for workmens comp. I spoke with her again on June 18,2024 and she said reiterating my check stubs said workers comp and that my deposit was no refundable. I work full time and I want my money back. The apartment complex did not contact my place of employment for verification of my employment. Administration fee $100.00 Applications fee $35.00 I would like my administration fee back because they denied me falsely due to misinformation on their part.

We do NOT manage this property or have anything to do with it since 2022.  We were the property manager up until June 2022 but ceased managing the site at that time.

June 10, 2024, ******************** came into the office to view a 2 bedroom garden unit at that time I per qualify and gave the prospect our rental qualifications and let them know the details on how the process would go with verifying each person is different with employment and rental we approve and or deny based on rental history, employment, and credit.  ******************** fell short on rental and her check stubs indicate she is paid workmen's comp she was emailed a denial letter that states her reason for her denial. It was also noted that the fees are non-refundable.

Im not clear on what the message was asking for. This is a copy of my receipt.

I never received a letter from them stating why I was denied with proof. I added a copy of the paystub and w2s I sent them. This is my employer verification code I sent to her. Work Number # ************    (Easterseals Midwest Code *****) I did not receive any proof that my job reported me being on workers compensation. My paycheck are from the company and not from workers compensation insurance. This company fraudulently denied me without doing proper verification because Ms. ****** stated the did not want to pay the fee it cost to verify through the phone service. I think it is only fair to return the deposit if you did not use it to do the proper verification.
