    On Thursday 12/29 a tech came out to our house to assess a broken window. My husband at that time signed a contract to have the window fixed but it clearly states in the contract that we could cancel within 3 business days to get our money back of $1650 that we put down. We called today Tuesday 1/3 to cancel as we found another company that would be much much cheaper. The company is denying our refund and counting the business days as the Thursday the day they came out which was not a full day, Friday 12/30, Saturday 12/31, Monday 1/2, and today Tuesday 1/3. Saturday 12/31 and the observed New Years holiday 1/2 are not business days and banks are not open. They are refusing to refund us and are also refusing to give us any other phone numbers to escalate the issue. This is a lot of money for nothing!

    After I reviewed the customer complaint they are correct in that they cancelled the contract within the recission period.  There is no need for a refund as their credit card was never charged.  I am the only one in our company who processes credit cards and I have been out with COVID.  As far as ***********************, their salesman, not giving them a phone number to escalate the issue to it is because **** is the co-owner of the company so there is no one higher to escalate the issue to especially while I am out sick.  I consider the contract to be cancelled and I will pay the measure man out of my own pocket since the customer did allow the measure man to come out to their home to measure the windows the day before they cancelled.

    I was happy with the business response to not charge us which was obviously the right thing for them to do.
