Our deck was built in the winter as we were buying a house, they used low-grade wood, and the new girl on the crew only screwed in instead of pre-drilling to prevent splitting and splinters half of the upper deck only had one or two screws in each board. They didnt look at the wood and put the crown down, therefore the crown up boards are starting to warm and pull away from the deck, instead of using deck boards, they use 2 x 6 boards pin Foreign pine pressure-treated wood here are a few of my problems After speaking with the representative at Lowes in the building materials department, it was your companies responsibility to take any wood that was damaged as in damaged on the edge that is shown in multiple pictures and having too many not hose that was shown on the pictures and any type of cracking has been caused by s******* into the wood and not pre-drilling before s******* into the wood. If you s**** directly into the wood, it causes cracking from the outside, working its way in, and I understand that it wouldve been your responsibility to go in return the wood, replaced prior to installation evidently was installed. I know there was any type of warranty on this project that these issues can be dealt with. I contacted them. They told me today was it the day because his wife had died on that day so I waited they came back at one time and did some repairs on it but now my response from them is. Warranty was with *******************, He accepted it, Green County passed it, the Deck is structurally sound, any cosmetic issues should have been addressed at Closing on the Property this was not noticed until after closing on the house due to the wood didnt start drying out until after the closing of the house. And they definitely used lower grade treated pine wood If I could, I would post some pictures But I would never ever use them and I looked them up online and now they say theyre permanently out of business although it cost $43,000 and they wont fix Remainingdeck
