Jan 21st between 6am and 10am I called repeatedly the JonBoys of *********** that the unit they installed on October 3rd was tripping my main circuit box. It was -8. At 10:45am I finally received a call from ********* the owner who told me by phone I needed an electrician it couldn't be their HVAC unit causing the problem. At 3:30 ************ of Springfield sent an electrician that discovered improper wiring from the unit to the main circuit breaker was the problem. I again called ********* at 4pm and it went to voicemail, so I had to use the service of ************ to heat my extremely cold house for fears my pipes would freeze and burst. My heat had been off since 6:45am and we never got above 5. ********* finally called at 4:45pm and angrily stated over my phone on speaker phone that he would reimburse me for the repair cost as the wiring was not in code and the incorrect line using 30amp wiring for a 60amp unit. I am seeking restitution for the bill that I had to pay. My heat was off for ****************************** the winter due to their error. It could have caused a fire. The wires were brown and melting at the time.

This is a photo of the improper wiring of the furnace to the main circuit breaker of my home. Splicing a 30amp wire for a 60amp breaker is not correct work and caused a potential fire hazard to my home.

This is a photo of the wire that was used. 30amp wired into a 60amp circuit. The company that installed my furnace, JonBoys, used a faulty technique not in code for this wiring as discovered by the electrician from ************ of ************
