      Labor performed on 8/22/2024 and 8/28/2024 Plumber was asked if he was capable/knowledge in removal and installation of a new shower. He said, "yes". Plumber showed up on 8/22/2024 and removed old one piece shower/tub and the shower door. He also removed the copper pipe that was used for the faucet and shower. He removed the door along with the trim to the bathroom. He broke one of the trim pieces of the bathroom door. He removed the old toilet. He installed the new shower base (we supplied all materials). He removed excessive amounts of drywall which he said he had to in order to install the shower base. He left for 3 hours and returned for 1/2 hour to clean up.Plumber came back on 8/28/2024. I asked him why he removed so much drywall. He installed the shower walls and shower fixtures (which we provided him the materials). He arrived at 8 am. and left at 2 pm. He didn't caulk the shower base or walls. He didn't install the toilet because the drywall behind the toilet was all removed.We hired a drywall repair guy and he thought the removal was a little excessive. We also decided to have the shower door for the shower installed by another plumbing company, and that's when we found out the wall with the fixtures on it was not plum. The new plumber said not only is the shower wall not plum, but it has no supports behind the wall and he was not sure how the fixtures were supported on the inside. The new plumber said that the only way we could have a shower door was to have one specially built to fit and that it would be very expensive. He gave us a name of a company who does build shower doors which we hired to have one made.We contacted C&D and told them that the hours charged were excessive, how we had to pay for repair of all the drywall, and that the shower wall is not plum. The owner of C&D Plumbing came over. He said because the room's wall is not plum there's no way the shower wall would be plum. He didn't offer a solution. I told him to leave.

      We disagree with what the customer is saying, the owner came to look at the job with the customer to go over the complaints and he got very hostile, using profanity, making fun and calling our employee rude names to his face, we have never had a customer act this way. We do not wish to argue with the customer so what he thinks is fair to pay we will accept. I tried to attach a screenshot of the conversation I had with the drywall company but it won't let me, but to prove we believe the customers complaints to not be accurate I called the drywall company to ask if we did a bad job or caused damage when removing the drywall or removed an excessive amount, because if so I was willing to remove some of that extra cost the customer had. The company replied that "it was cut out pretty good and the job went well. We don't think it was excessive damage for a tub change out."
