On Sept, 06, 2023, I bought an engine from L & W Engines/ Stewart Wells, whom has no business license, but claims to have a legal business. The verbal contract was to install the motor the motor in my truck in 2 months for $2000.00. I agreed. Approximately November 20, 2023, I went back to check on my truck, It was not done. On Dec, 18, 2023, a month late I was called and told my truck was ready. I was informed that I owed another $1152.20. I did not like it but I paid it. I drove the truck 500 yards and all the oil drained out of the truck. I took the truck back 500 yards to L & W Engines. Everyone had left ! I called and explained the situation. L & W Engines did not fix this problem. I returned, no one was there. I called no one returned my calls. I had to contact the ******* ****** ****** ********** ** **** *** ***** release the truck to me. The truck had not been repaired, it still pumped oil out of the motor when running. I tried to resolve the problem with the company, Mr. ***** would not return my calls. There was no action to resolve the problem. Now 4 months had gone by. I bought this truck for my new business and need it very badly. Starting in January 2024 I contacted the Clinton County Police department to make Mr ***** release my truck to me. First he flatly refused and told me the truck was going to be impounded by the police. I called the police again. There was going to be no impound. On Jan, 04, 2024, Stewart ***** with no business license, released my truck to me after requiring me to sign a document that he did not guarantee his work. I had my truck towed home. The Dec, 18, 2023 oil leak had never been fixed. I found the fuel lines had not been bolted on to the back of the motor as is necessary for normal operation. the lose mounting bracket on the fuel lines then pressed against the oil pressure sending unit on the back of the motor and broke the top off of it. Causing oil to squirt out of it unhindered.
