I applied for a home did my application and paid application fees I was told the property was avail when I applied during application process I was discriminated against by Fabian’s Vargas she told me that I needed to turn in my paystubs I told her I already did that she apologized then she said I need to turn in my previous landlord she apologized again and said oh I see you did I ask her is there anything else she needed bc I knew I had turned in everything she said no a few minutes later she denied my application saying property was already rented but she could get me in another property which was in a bad neighborhood and house was no where compared to the home applied for she pretty much discriminated against me and did not want me to have the home I qualified for she wanted me to have something less I’m a nurse and my credit score is 674 my income is about 8000 monthly . Do not apply with this company if the house was already rented why would u take my application fee ?One Stop Property Management, LLC

Hello Carnella, I want to clarify that we do not have any record of an application under your name in our system. If you believe there was an issue, I would be happy to look into it further—please feel free to reach out to me directly. Our goal is always to provide a transparent and fair leasing process, and we take concerns like this seriously. If you’d like to discuss this further, please contact us so we can review any details that may have been missed.Review fromRodney B

This company knowingly accepts funds for homes they know are already rented so they can obtain as many rental "Non refundable" application fees as possible in the mean time. I applied for 425 Duncan Drive, near Kansas city. This property not only had an accepted application from someone else, but also already had their lease signed and deposit paid. By knowingly taking the funds from our family with 0% chance of our family being able to obtain the home; this is a common form of fraud. While Missouri can legally charge whatever they would like for rental applications, it is established that by accepting the funds for a home that is not available and flat out refusing to refund, they've opened themselves up to civil issues. Look at this companies reviews, There's no reason why anyone should use this establishment. We look forward to seeing this company in small claims. On principal to send a message to other rental companies that also practice this despicable and unethical cash grab. One Stop Property Management, LLC

Please know that our policy and practice is not to accept funds for a new application in a situation where a home is already leased. I understand that our leasing team has already reached out to you separately to resolve this situation. If that has been resolved satisfactorily, we consider this matter addressed. If not, please clarity with what additional resolution you are requesting so it can be considered.Review fromSterling H

Times are really hard right now and I am father and husband. I wanted to break down the other day because of the charges they say I owe. There was flood twice in the basement around July 4th so instead of celebrating we had to find Shelter for a few days. I've sent pics of the flood and also emails I sent them about how old and rusted everything was in the home. They stated the house comes as is and I was paying $1395 a month. They charge you for the wear and tear of other people's use on top of my use for the 2 yrs I was living in the home. I moved out Aug 31st 2024 and here we are in the middle of October with no response from my emails I sent and no deposit. This has definitely set me back with having to live with other people in the past month. One stop is so unfair and clearly needs to be stopped. They should not be allowed to rent to anyone! One Stop Property Management, LLC

When we received the remains of our security deposit, a couple of charges were acceptable, but there were over $500 removed that we were skeptical of. We explained our concerns and were requesting to see receipts, invoices, or bills. It was already confirmed that One Stop would have used contractors for what the money supposedly went towards, and that they are kept on record. Yet, for over eight months, we were repeatedly ignored or deflected with irrelevant emails claiming they did not owe us anything, even though until the very end we were only ever asking for evidence that our money was used properly, not for a refund. No such evidence has ever been shown, and the request to see it was never addressed or even acknowledged, despite mentioning it in every single contact we made (again, for over eight months). We were deducted for the following items, each with an explanation for concern:- Cleaning, $200: We spent four days thoroughly cleaning the house during our last week to the point where it would be classified as spotless, and it was significantly cleaner than it was when we moved in as there did not appear to be a proper cleaning after the previous tenants' departure (bags of fast-food trash in closets, loose trash in the garage and shed, as well as a thick layer of dust coating all surfaces). Yet, they were probably charged as well even though we were the ones to clean after them instead.- Landscaping, $300: The day before our departure, we mowed the grass, trimmed the ******, and removed the stray vegetation around the trees and along the ********** that was left were two large branches that fell from a recent storm that were agreed to be large enough to not be our responsibility for removal.- Lightbulbs, $45: All lights were functioning before our departure, which is all that was expected according to the lease. If all lightbulbs are simply replaced between tenants, then that expense was not our responsibility unless specified in the lease (it was not). One Stop Property Management, LLC

Impossible to get ahold of anyone when you need anything but they have no problem blowing up your phone when they need something. They charged me a large fee for a missed appointment for a garage door service man, when an appointment was never made nor was I ever even contacted to make an appointment. I reached out approximately 20 times via phone, text, email, website and have still not gotten a response, this started in march and it is now almost July. I also moved out 5/30, it is now 6/19 and I have reached out several times about my move out check list and receiving my $2500 deposit back and have still not gotten a response. I was required to do all maintenance on my home, went almost two weeks without an air conditioner in the prime of last summer (while hounding them for help). I would never recommend this property management to anyone. One Stop Property Management, LLC

The scenario that you describe is not typical of the experience our tenants have with our company. I am sorry if you have experienced these frustrations, but I must admit there seems to be more to this scenario than has been shared in this review. If you would contact me directly, I'd be happy to discuss this with you and try to resolve your concerns: ************Review fromDonald G

They did a poor job of replacing the carpet tiles and they are now pealing up.The gate to the back yard broken, they attempted to fix it broken again. The blinds did not work in the kitchen, I replaced them myself.I had a dental crown fall off and go in the **Trap. The * Trap was pieced milled together and broke when taken off.
