    We chose A Catered Affair to cater for my wedding this year. We had a made a deposit of $500 on January 6th 2023 to save the date of our wedding and the amount would go towards the total cost of their service. Communication between the owner was fine until we were notified by our wedding planner that the owner, *************** has been cancelling catering services last minute. As we are getting closer to our wedding day, we had reached out about this concern but did not have luck getting a response from the owner. We have repeatedly tried to contact anybody from the business and they did not have a physical location for us to go to. Recent ****** reviews of the business seems to confirm our concerns. We had no choice but to go with a different caterer in fear that they will cancel last minute.We are just wanting to have our initial deposit back from the caterer and an explanation of why they have not been responding.

    My husband, ****, and I, ********, just got married at ************ in ******* ******** on August 19, 2023.Our caterer was A Catered Affair and the owner *************** had been in contact with us. We paid a $500 deposit on our signed contract. And then we made the final two remaining payments, one was $2300.00. And the other was $2,085.73.I have the invoice for the $500 and the $2300, but he never sent the final invoice, but we have bank statements and Im attaching that.We signed the contract January 13, 2023. And were completely paid in full before the wedding. **** had called and confirmed everything week of our wedding. **** did not show up on our wedding day. He has not returned our emails, texts, or phone calls. We want our money back and would also appreciate if he paid for the food we did have to buy last minute to feed 140 people. We have a receipt. Rounding up, it was $600.
