    I have been requesting paperwork from this lawyer since 02/2023. He does not answer the phone, and does not return phone calls. After first he did. I have been very patient and respectful. Today I called and I hit *67 and they picked up the phone and they stated that he would not be back in the office until Monday. A lawyer should abide by the rules. I sent a Sunshine request and he did not respond to that request either. I would like to know if I am entitled to the file or not. I would like to receive my deceased son file that I have requested.

                I am in
    receipt of your correspondence regarding a service issue complaint from Ms.
    *****.   To be clear, Ms. ***** was the
    petitioner for a guardianship for her son that was issued by the Cole County
    Probate Court on January 23, 2017. I was not her attorney that requested the
    guardianship and did not work with Ms. ***** to file the guardianship, nor did
    I obtain the documents necessary for the guardianship.   I was appointed to serve the paperwork on
    her son and appear at court representing him at the hearing. 

    Any request for those documents
    should be handled by the attorney that worked on Ms. *****’s behalf. The only
    documents I have any access to are the documents that are within the case
    itself and I will forward those separately to Miss ***** at her email address. Let
    me know if you have questions or need anything further.

    I did receive a email from Mr ****. He never stated that he was going to send me anything. Im requesting ny deceased son legal file that he has in his office. The guardship has nothing to do with hat Im requesting at this point the guardship is no longer in effect, when my son passed the guardianship ended.

    *** **** stated,  The only documents I have any access to are the documents that are within the case itself and I will forward those separately to Miss ***** at her email address. Im requesting a copy of the legal file he has in his office. I have not received anything from Mr ****. So please do not close this compliant until I have received the file. I sent *** **** the Court Order. I will send it to you also as facts.
