Due to unfortunate circumstances my property has been plagued with termites and mold. Servpro Jefferson City was recommended and I chose them for the job. I have been working closely with the OwnerDavid **** and Operations Manager, ****** ***** since the start of this project. I was informed back in October 2024 that this project would take 2 weeks; however, the project has gone beyond 5 months and the job is still not completed. The first post test was not conducted until January 16, 2025. I have been given excuse upon excuse as to why this job has been prolonged way past its intended completion date.During these 5 months I have received several electric bills surpassing $600 a piece on top of making monthly payments to Servpro in the amount of $1100. To be *****, this team and its continuous delays has cost me more money and heartache than I have ever experienced before. With each passing week it is a deadline that is missed. I personally decided to work with Servpro because I believed that they would have completed this task in a timely and professional manner but to my surprise that is not the case. Due to these continuous hiccups and missed deadlines, I am seeking recompense for lost revenue in the amount of Four Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty dollars ($4950) upfront and that the April payment to be pushed to May 2025.I look forward to discuss the terms of getting this job completed and the reconciliation process. Regards,******** *****

Our team at Servpro strives to make every job and job outcome a positive experience for our
customers. When we accepted Ms. ****** mold job, we told her it would likely take 4 to 6 weeks to
complete the remediation if there were no complications. We also told her some mold jobs are
more complex than others where there may be additional mold sources not contained in the
protocol provided by the industrial hygienist. We also told Ms. ***** that she needed to winterize
her house so that her pipes would not freeze. Due to several unforeseen occurrences, i.e. extremely
cold temperatures, discovery of water damage in the lower-level bedroom, kitchenette, and closet
followed by water damage in the lower-level living room (which we had to remediate), emergency
calls, our ?rst post test was conducted on January 16, 2025. The results indicated that the main
level and attic passed, but the lower level did not. The ** advised that we reclean the lower level
and duct work. We post tested again on February 5th, 2025. The lower level failed again, and the
mold spore counts dramatically increased (an indication of hidden mold growth), which
necessitated an additional scope of work to be written, at an additional cost to Ms. ****** On
February 25th, 2025 Ms. ***** authorized us to proceed with the additional scope of work. We
started again March 6th, 2025 this time tearing out multiple walls, removing the ceiling, and framing
as well as a portion of the sub?oor. We completed ?nal cleaning and shut off our equipment on
March 31, 2025. Post testing is to occur on April 1st, 2025. A couple of key points: 1. We reimbursed
Ms. ***** for of her monthly electric bills ($1,379) as a gesture of goodwill. 2. Ms. ***** could
have rented out the main ?oor and the upper level commencing January 16th but needed to do some
refurbishments. There is a separate entrance to the basement which would have allowed us to
complete the basement work while Ms. ***** was renting the upstairs. 3. There is no disputed
amount of money. The customer owes us $36,880 for the original scope of work, $6,242 for the
additional scope of work and $4,364 for the water remediation. While we both agree its unfortunate
that the job is not totally complete, we have performed our work following the protocol and
additional work that was unforeseen in a diligent and quality of work manner. We have over
communicated with the customer through every facet of the job. We will be meeting the customer
on April 16th, 2025 to resolve any issues.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

The reason for the rejection is because I was unable to rent out the top level due to the fact that they had to continue ripping out additional drywall in which more mold was discovered. I was informed by the mold insepector that the upstairs had to be retested after the additional removal. After Servpro removed additional drywall, the downstairs still failed test a third time before. Also, before the test took place, I went into the upstairs and immediately had a headache after 5 minutes of being in the home. I called the mold inspector and he informed me that the upstairs also had to be retested again. There was no way I was able to rent out the top portion with them still ripping out more mold.

      Sincerely,
