This business has my car at their mechanic shop. Original told me that I could store it there and never mentioned fees. Im an 18 and walked back and forth to work to save money up to buy my first car. After finally saving enough, I purchased and a month later the engine blew. I took the car to ****** the owner who said the motor blew and never mentioned anything else about fees or anything. While walking to work again, I got home tonight and found myself being strong armed to either sign the title over for $500 or pay $30 a day in lot fees for storing my car there since august. Which is over $5,400. My car is not even worth that. I signed no agreements or anything. When I asked him if I could just have a tow truck come get it, he said for $5400. Which clearly is unreasonable and shows hes trying to take advantage of me since Im only 18 and this is my first car. I never signed any agreements or anything. I just want my car back as he hasnt done any work to it whatsoever. Please help me.

We have three different signs in the shop about leaving cars/trucks with us for a length of time.  This consumer left the car since June 2023.  He wouldn't respond to multiple calls.  I did the work, he didn't pay and I was charging for storage as well.  He sent two weeks ago a tow truck at midnight.  I sent the car to be crushed, since the car and the repair was not payed for.
