I went to iProtect about 5 months ago because the back of my iPhone 14 Pro *** was cracked. I had used them before and had no problems. After I picked up my phone, the back had been fixed, but I noticed the insides of my phone were loose and shaking around. I did not think it was a big deal so I ignored this. I dropped my phone about a week ago and the LED in my phone went out. I decided to go back again. They fixed this as well. Everything was fine up until yesterday. I woke up and my phone gave me a notification about my battery and the display being unknown. My phone immediately started jumping from 100% to 0%, consistently turning off. I assumed this was a mess up with them because it had said the battery and display *** have not been installed correctly. I went back to them and they told me that I had a bad battery. I told them theres no way my battery was bad because I have the brand new iPhone. I took my phone in and they would not even take a look inside to see if it was their mess up. They insisted that it was because the battery had went bad and I would have to pay for the new battery. They quoted me $100 for a old, used battery. I decided to go somewhere else and they charged me the same price for a brand new original Apple battery. They told me after it was repaired that iProtect had stolen my battery and replaced it with an old one. My problem with this is I had went in both times for my screen, not the battery. My battery has never been broke or repaired the whole time I have had the phone, and iProtect is the only place I have went for phone repairs. I also asked the other place why there was rattling in my phone and they said this was not normal and unprofessional. I am assuming this happens to multiple people and it needs to stop. I have spent hundreds of dollars. They are scammers.
