    Four s****s foot clinic did a botched surgery on my toes and charged me ungodly fees for medicine then va refered me to them again they over charged for services and i contac*** va comunity care and canceled services with them and the drs office kept making appointments even though i canceled with them and now they are sending me to collections for a no show of an apt i did not make and they have been advised by va that these are fradulent claims and still coming after me and messing up my credit for no reason other than they commi*** fraud against me

    This patient has been seen in our clinic on numerous occasions and has never had a complaint until he was charged for 2 no -show, no call appointments. When he was established in our clinic, he was notified of our no-show fee policy (charged if 24-hour notice is not given to cancel appointment) and he signed that he was made aware of it. He has had a total of 2 no-show, no call appointments and one cancelled appointment. He called our clinic on 12.12.2023, using vulgar language and threatening our staff. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. 


    Regarding his claim that he was over charged for medicine, we are not a pharmacy and we do not distribute medication. He may be referring to the medication that was ordered by our physician for him to pick up at the pharmacy, and if this is the case, we have no control over what a pharmacy charges. Upon his second appointment he did purchase (optional) OTC products from our clinic, but this was his choice, the same as if you go to Wal-Mart and purchase lotion. As far as his s****ment concerning his credit, our clinic has no control over his bad credit, nor have we repor*** him to a credit bureau. I have written off both of the no show charges to his account, and he has been dismissed from our clinic due to his inappropriate behavior.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I have had 2 suposed no show apt because the drs office keeps making apts after i canceled the referal because of the crazy charges they charged the va and i told them i no longer had a referal and canceled my referal on 8/23/23 and they kept making apts and sent me a letter telling me that they sent me to a collection agency which is repor*** to credit agencys and will effect my very good credit score and they where told by the va that they can not charge veterans for no show charges under the agrement they signed with the va

    I was recommended by my family doctor. They had my appt. I was there before 9:30am I waited an hour. I informed them that I needed to leave by 10:30am because I needed to get my daughter from school. I was not seen until 10:45am. They put me in a loose fracture boot, I informed them that my foot was still moving around. They did not give me any information regarding my fracture foot. I went to seek a second opinion by another doctor. They called me this morning because they seen a medical request and that I would have to pay to get that information sent over to the other doctor, and they were going to burn that x-ray on to a disc. Which is not what I asked for. Also, I cancelled my appt with them this morning. I decided that I was no longer in need of their services. I would like to refunded in the amount of $320.85.

Due to an unforeseen situation with another patient on this particular day, our office was running behind with scheduled appointments (these things happen in medical offices when an emergency arises). The patient was offered to reschedule her appointment due to the situation. She declined and was seen and treated by our Provider. I will not be refunding her for services that were provided. She requested a copy of her medical records, and our office explained she has access to them by using her patient portal. It is our policy if we provide the records, or burn an xray disc, there is a cost associated with this, as any other provider charges for these services as we have to pay for supplies, and it requires my staff's time.
