My mothers vehicle was towed 2 days ago by Comers who was instructed to have it towed by highway patrol. I contacted Comers and after being rude and denying that they even had the vehicle at first they then told me I would have to bring in $370 CASH today only to get it back. I understand a fee but they towed the vehicle a total of 0.8 miles. We previously had a 2 ton dumptruck towed with a heavy duty tower 10ish miles and it cost less than this. The man was acting hateful and shady the entire time trying to take advantage of my mother. After telling him my mom was in the middle of moving when it happened he told me about the 370 cash but never said anything when I asked what I needed to get the vehicle back.

On or about 24th of August 2022 comer wrecker impounded my car for the Joplin police department. When I went to get it out the rude thief *****, told me it would be 4 thousand dollars. When I did the math it was half of that or even less. I would call on a Friday to get price and schedule pick up and he would tell me he's busy and to call back Monday. That happened for one extra month. He would not work with me or let me get any stuff out of the car. Was the rudest person I've ever talked to and obviously wanted to keep my 2010 Audi A4. It's so wrong in my opinion. I had the money to get car (2k) I called and went to get it and overnight the price doubled. He shouldn't be allowed to get away with this. I really pray someone will help me because this man is a thief with many cars. I paid 7800 for my car few months prior to this incident and badly need and want it back. People shouldn't be able to obtain free cars and charge the owner any price they'd like to get it back. It's wrong. Please help me. Anyone.
