I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because: that is not our signatures on the title they submitted. I have other documents from the day the trade was made in which we both signed and the signatures on the submitted title are not ours.

      Sincerely,

To Whom it May Concern: In reference to the complaint made by ****** ********. Please refer to all documents attached. Labeled "Bill of Sale - ********" attachment, you can see; ****** and ******* ******** purchased a vehicle with Roper Used Cars on 11/03/2021 and also traded in a 2019 Jeep Compass (Vin ending KT671186). The next attachment is the "Title - State of Kansas" showing the vehicle being traded in by the Thompsons and sold to ***** *****. 2021 was also during the Covid mess with titles and getting them from DMV's were really difficult at that stage, as well, many exceptions and deadlines were extended during this time. No one forged anyone's name, the The next attachment is "Check *******" This is the check paying off the loan for the ********** on the 2019 Jeep Compass since it was traded in to Roper Used Cars and resold. Next attachment is "Bill of Sale to New Owner".

You can see, we sold the Jeep Compass to ***** ***** on 11/19/2022. Mr. ***** never tagged or licensed the vehicle in his name, he also defaulted on his loan with ****** on the vehicle. Therefore, Exeter repo'd the vehicle at some point about a year ago. ****** never tells us when they are repoing client vehicles of ours. A tow truck driver shows up one day with the vehicle and states - We are to store the vehicle until we hear further instructions from ******. We actually haven't given any thought to the vehicle until our General Mgr ***** ********** got a call from the Thompsons about a week ago saying they see their car is on the back of our lot & they want to come pick it up. ***** contacted Exeter, they have written off the car and do not want the car back. ***** Roper had ***** apply with the ************************ for Abandoned Property on the vehicle and a tow truck came & picked it up on Friday 01/24/2025. Roper Used Cars has no right or interest in the vehicle either. The vehicle legally belongs to ******. If the Thompsons wish to pursue further, they will need to contact *****************

I hope this has helped to resolve the matter for the ********** and explain how the situation came to be. If I can be of any further help or answer any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ****
