      * ***** ****** * ******** *** *** **** *** ****** ****** ** ***** came to my mothers house in Kansas and pressure sold her a water treatment system for $3500. They came in the late evening and wouldn’t leave after repeated requests and refusals. They had her sign a loan through a secondary finance company for the value of the system. The system doesn’t work. The products given along with the system quit working due to the excessive calcium which is what the system was supposed to fix. She has a diminished mental capacity and has a power of attorney. Her confusion, especially in the evening is evident. I have tried to work this out and have the company come get the system and fix this but I have gotten a run around. They didn’t tell her she had a three day grace time. She tried to pay the whole balance in December of 2022 but they held her check and then told her it had expired. The interest on this loan is more than half the payment. She put $500 down at the time of purchase on a 30 year loan of $3500. This is very predatory. The whole thing with a company and a separate loan company working together to pray on people. I want them to come get the system and cancel her contract. I am not fighting about what has been paid previously although I feel like I could. Nothing about this seems fully legal.

      We have since had contact with ******* ******. We began communication on 3/23/23. We had walked her through our processes for financing. She even has requested to see the products with the representative who sold the products to her Mother about purchasing some herself.  We are attaching the communications between the representative **** and *******. We strive for great customer service and we believe that the complaint was filed too hastily.
