Many believe my $2 million distress damages request is excessive. Beg to disagree for these main reasons: 1)there never would have been a crime committed if the bank had followed legal protocols. 2)the nature of this crime appeared to be malicious, coordinated and racially based. It was like a game of charades or a sit-com script the extent employees went to deceive me. 3)these characters are bound-by-oath to the public. 4)the measure of punishment should be determined by abilities to pay. If the verdict doesn't inflict Pain, it was inadequate. 4)the multitude of accomplices. I believe that fair justice should incorporate damages for each participant proportional to their degree of violation. So this figure could easily exceed $10 million in the public’s court of justice.
See how much harm they've done!:
Mass tort damages payouts in financial crimes can be large due to several factors:
      * Scale of Harm: Financial crimes often affect a large number of people, leading to significant cumulative damages. Each individual may have suffered a relatively small loss, but when combined, the total amount can be substantial.
      * Nature of the Offense: Financial crimes can involve intentional and malicious acts, such as fraud, embezzlement, or Ponzi schemes. Courts may award higher damages to punish the wrongdoer and deter similar conduct in the future.

The Bank takes this matter very seriously. The Bank has made a good faith effort to address this matter but has been unable to reach a resolution.

Bank Midwest needs to review its customer complaints. We have been with them since we moved to Liberty, MO 25 years ago. They have readily been going downhill. They recently had what they call a major upgrade to their computer systems that required them shutting down for an entire three days. This is absurd. I’ve never heard of shutting a bank down for that many days, but they did which created, a huge disservice to several. The upgrade has changed their bill pay to where some of the bills go by mail now instead of electronic and take 10-15 days to Arrive and their best thing for me to do was to delete them try to re-enter them and see if they would come up as electronic. That does not sound, like a professional answer at all it sounds like I’m working at the middle school level with kids and that could be their answer. Let’s just delete it and see if it will work. I don’t have time for this in my life and I should not have to do this. I called and complained about how the bills were not getting there and we were behind on two bills because of this bank and it does hurt your credit. It’s not our fault. This upgrade they have done is now a step back in time. They really need to stop and look at this and change the new system. This has caused me more frustration than you can imagine. I’m very disappointed in the bank. I am looking for a new one. I called back at the end of August or when they switched over to this other system and after being on the phone with them for three different phone calls about four hours total they still hadn’t fixed it and they were to call me back when they thought they might have some thing fixed, well it is now November 7, 2024 2 1/2 months and still not resolved & no phone call. I want to speak to the CEO and let him/her know how much money my husband has moved for the bank and now we will close our account soon, the big office people need to hear what is going on. Don’t bank with Bank Midwest!

Bank Midwest in St. Joseph, MO starting hitting our account with a bunch of FEES! We went in to close the account because they were absolutely absurd. They finally finagled a deal that because my spouse was a Veteran that they would waive the fees and give us free checks for his account. We were told that in the even we try to close the account all of those FEES would have to be collected! That was their way to keep us as customers.
We have used 1 box of checks in 5 years. I need checks. I called to get another box of checks and was told, "Well, things change and you are no longer eligible for free checks." So we are FORCED to hold up to our end of the bargain, but they don't have to. This is how you honor a Veteran! WOW! IF "things really do change", then the fees from 4-5 years ago should be dropped and let us go somewhere with free checking for Veterans.
How can they say they "value our business" and treat him like that? Is this honest in any way? NO! I feel like this is a breach of contract! Why would I stay with a company who wants to lie and manipulate to keep me?

I have reached out to your customer service several times with zero response. When I called the branch directly I was treated rudely. I had an overdraft and all your person did was try to sell me overdraft protection. You don't post in a timely manner and then you froze my card even though I had plenty of $$ in my account and you didn't even bother to tell me!!! I was mortally embarrassed trying to use my card only to be told it was declined. I realize I'm a small fish in a big pond and therefore I probably don't matter. It won't be a loss for them when I take my business elsewhere.
