    On December 30, 2022, we ordered 3 custom dance costumes for a trio of dancers. We used their size guidelines, were very cautious about our measurements and waited the 10 weeks that was expected for the costumes to come in.
    Upon arrival, two of the three costumes were extremely small and unwearable on stage. I originally sent an email to ask for a larger size to be sent, with no reply. Our next step was one of the other moms that was part of the order (and had ordered from them before) called to explain the situation and they simply said, "no refunds, no exchanges". Our third attempt was my own phone call to explain the situation. The answer at that point was that, "they do not make mistakes so there is nothing we can do for you". I asked if I could send pictures with clear measurements to show the error. She said that I could but was still unsure what they could do for us. Since the pictures were so clear as to the size error, I felt assured the situation would be resolved, but the email back said the fit was what should be expected and there is nothing they can do for us.
    The errors on their part are blatant and their customer communication is egregious and extremely disrespectful.

    Hello,  At Eleve Dancewear we offer Ready to Wear and Custom Dancewear. Ready to Wear items are made in larger quantities in multiple sizes and are available to ship within 2-3 days. These items are also able to be returned or exchanged. Custom Dancewear is a special made to order item and not eligible for return or exchange. In a custom order the customer is able to choose style, sleeve options, leg line options, and all fabric options. They are one of a kind. You will see on our Policies page where we explain that once a custom order is cut, we can no longer make changes to the order. Custom orders are non refundable and final sale. Customers can always order fabric swatches to help when making fabric selections. Our customer service team is also happy to answer questions about sizing and custom orders. The customer with the complaint did not order swatches and did not place a Ready to Wear order which could have been exchanged prior to ordering custom dancewear. She also did not reach out to our customer service team with questions prior to her order. I have attached a screen shot of our policies page mentioning Custom Orders with the link here ***************************************** and also took a screenshot of the one of the emails in our communication with the customer. We do not appreciate her complaint when our policies are clear on our website.
