    I took my 2006 Volvo XC 90 suv to Brookside 66 for repair on November 10, 2022. I had asked that the vehicle receive (see attachment marked exhibit 1). I received a quote and asked the repairs be made. I was contacted via telephone by **** that there were several issues after diagnostic to be repaired also. I was also told by **** that the cost would increase significantly. I was told that a call would be placed to me to tell me the exact cost. This call did not happen. After phoning the repair shop after the car had been held for 2 weeks and asking was the car ready, I was told by **** that the cost would be around $3,000 for the repairs (see attachment exhibit 2). I was told I would be contacted to make certain that the needed hoses etc. per the repair would need to be replaced, no call came. I phoned the repair shop and was told the technician was out and the repairs would begin when he returned. I was contacted on November 29th via telephone that the car was ready for pick and running great (voicemail retained), after no authorization to begin the 3000.00 worth of work as quoted. I went to pick up the vehicle on Friday November 30th and drove only 2 blocks before turning around and taking the vehicle back to the repair shop. I asked **** to accompany me and drive the vehicle which now had a knocking in the rear-end and drove as if it had never been touched. **** did drive the vehicle as I sat in the passenger seat. He never acknowledge the rough ride of the vehicle but did state he heard and felt the knocking and vibration. Upon returning to the shop **** stated that the car will get taken care of right and he would be in contact. I called the shop today, 12/5/2022 and was told that the sound in the rear was something different and **** stated the charges would have to be calculated to take care of. I have paid 2949.46 via ******** ****** **** upon pickup and prior to driving. My car is held hostage and unrepaired by Brookside 66. Please help! repairs or refund
