It was time to renew my membership with AAA so I had my membership fee deducted from my checking account. I get alerts from my bank when money is deducted from my account and immediately saw that they had deducted the $57 for my yearly membership TWICE on the same day for a total of $114.
When I called AAA to let them they know, they admitted that it was their mistake and that I would be reimbursed the $57 they erroneously took from my account but that instead of just putting the money back into my account, as they took it out, that I would have to wait for a check to arrive within two weeks. I told them to just cancel my account and they did, and they told me that I would receive a check for the total $114 they took directly out of my account within that two weeks.
Well here it is now two weeks later and I have NOT received any check for what they took from my account. That to me is THEFT. I asked the man I spoke too over two weeks ago what I should do if I had not received the check within two weeks he said call us back, so I guess I can spend two hours on the phone again to hear the same thing.
If they can take that money from my account, then they should be able to return it to my account, but I am beginning to believe that AAA is nothing but a scam.

We’ve had AAA for several years now and we’ve had to use them several times over those years. Last year in particular, my mother-in-law had eyesurgery and I drove her home after the doctors appointment and we didn’t have the garage door opener so we couldn’t get in the house, but there’s a in the garage so I opened it and unlocked it, but there were stuff in the garage in front of the door and I couldn’t fit through thedoor so we called AAA to come help us when they got there. We told them we did not need them to unlock the door it was We just need them to step inside and push the button and unlock it for us or open it which he did they charged us $500 for that visit. There was on top of the $100 fee they get from AAA and then we have just four days ago, my husband seemed to have misplaced his keys, we call AAA and tell them we need someone to come out and make a key to our car. F funny thing I live in Lincoln county they recommended I use a company of st Charles. I waited and waited and then this big r white van shoes up, it appears to be rented, as did the one, when we needed the garage door open. Not a single one spoke a lick of English and ended up paying $400& he got $100 fee from AAA. Then this guy, all pissed off, because if what, we had no idea, then he tells us, he got a ticket coming thru the town before mine. While I was waiting for”Lick and Dick” I made a phone call and the s average locksmith only charged $100-$200, for this service. So why then does AAA CONTINUE TO USE THIS COMPANY WHO RIPS OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS???

      HORRIBLE service!
Was denied reimbursement for tow service I received.
When in the past I needed tow service, there was no issue (for the SAAME TRUCK)
Explained to the representative what was going on, and they told me to fill out a reimbursement form and mail it back.

We have constantly submitted paperwork for the recoverable depreciation and yet and still it was not released. As being a customer for over 10+ years you would think youll get treated better than this.
