I paid Rick from Affordable Plumbing $4,250 in October 2024 to fix a major offset near the sidewalk of my property. Upon recent inspection from a prospective buyer, they found the major offset still existed in its original condition. I have contacted the company several times to resolve this matter, but they want an additional $1,000 to complete the job they were originally contracted to perform. They refuse to refund any amount or resolve this amicably. The owner will not call me back.

On 3/4/24 Affordable plumbing came to clean my clogged main line. I did not have a proper clean-out making it extremely difficult to run a blade thru. An attempt was made with a small blade to no avail. Another appointment was made to have a clean-out installed and a hydro-jett and camera done.
On 3/6/24 a tech by the name of ****** came. He install my clean-out valve. I paid $450 for that. and proceeded to run the hydro-jet. he could not get the hydro-jet more than 25-30 ft in the line. After about 4 tries he said he was done. Then he told me that my line was broken or really messed up at 35 ft because the jet couldn't go any farther. He said he didn't run a camera because he didn't want to damage it or get it stuck like the jet. He then charged me $650 for hydro-jet and camera. I said he didn't hydro-jet my line, I still had a clog. He insisted on full payment and told me it would cost $3500 to fix my line. Then when I get the report he claims he ran the camera and it was able to "push thru" the 35 ft mark on to 60ft where a blockage was. This didn't sound right since he told me no camera was run and if it "pushed thru" you would expect a discription of damage that he claimed stopped the jet. I called another plumbing company. They also had trouble going passed about 25 ft. HOWEVER, they found a second clean-out located next to my foundation. Through this clean-out they discovered the line dropped 90° and then another90° turn to go out. Two 90° turns make it very difficult to get any thing thru and that is where the hydro-jet was getting stuck. They DID run a camera which showed the pipe is intact, just two 90° turns. They then cleared my line. Affordable plumbing did not hydro-jet my line passed 25 ft. He lied about the camera. At the most I should have been charged a service call for that part, not $650 because he could not complete that. I have emailed them twice about refunding my money for this. They have not responded. more detail but not enough room.
