I bought 3 wigs from Chiquel. The first one was a dud. On their tiktok they show wigs, and they explain what they look like. I bought 3 based on the recommendation of Amanda, the owner. I measured my head, and followed their instructions. When I ordered, I used a code to get 30% off. Their refund/exchange policy was not front of mind because I did my research on the wig and thought this would be a good fit. After receiving and trying it on, i decided it was not. It was very fake looking and did not fit properly. We contacted chiquel and they said I could return it if I paid shipping but that it was considered a sale item and I would not get my money back. only store credit. I was upset, because I didn't want to go through that again. I am losing my hair due to health issues and this has been a mortifying situation. I ordered two more wigs in the mean time because they were so slow to get back to me. I was going out of town for work and needed something asap... When they finally got back to me, and after much back and forth they agreed to credit my card the amount I paid for the original wig to my card for the new order. When I received the two new wigs they did not fit even though according to their website, they should. Now I'm stuck with two other wigs that I cannot return. This has been a mess. Their policies make already difficult situations so much worse. I want to return the other two and get all of my money back. I am mortified.

On Jan 31 2024 I purchased a wig from Chiquel Wigs. I paid $227.00 for this item. When I received it I opened the box took out the wig and shook it like I was told to do. I was completly shocked at first the terrible color then the amount of hair. It was supposed to be a low density wig with natural looking hair but it was huge. I tried it on and knew there was no way a senior woman could wear this color and that much hair. Buying a wig is a challenge because you don't actually get to touch or try on before you buy. So I tried to send it back for a refund due to there was nothing else I wanted and all the hair colors were limited. That is when i was told I had only 2 options 1. get in store credit or exchange it. I did not want either because there was no others that would work for me, I know this $227.00 wig was pre-worn as I could smell it. I had to use the money I was saving for my taxes to buy the wig (I have hair loss) They have done this to others, and they use the "I bought a sale wig) I paid the full price and then at check out I got a discount which many stores do. All I want is a refund and to put my money back in savings and never have to deal with unfair companies again. ******** *** ** ******** ********* ******
