I had a main line leak. They started digging @ the meter & found the leak by the house. They were there M-F & done @ noon on Fri. We had no issues until the end. When we got home after they backfilled & "cleaned" up the yard I was blown away by how poorly this was done. They spread dirt over a much wider area than where they dug. So any *************** would be way too low as dirt was spread out & not backfilled properly in the trench. Left trash, large tree roots, marker flags & left the valve boxes tilted. Didn't back fill under sprinkler lines they had to cut & fix so when dirt was packed with the machine the sprinkler lines came apart. I dug up 3 spots & repaired those. One line was pushed down 22 inches! I'm no plumbing expert, but I know a line that is separated by 22 inches won't work. Plumbers not knowing how to fix a sprinkler line ?????. I had to move all the rock & stones back & replace my landscaping lights they tore out. The ground was very poorly graded. High & low spots all over. I spent several hours & multiple days fixing this. I never got a quote as I had a trusted friends recommendation to use this company. I'll never make that mistake again. I will research. When they were about halfway done the ******* said it could be about $6K. Fully aware of how many tree roots we had & the line was diving deeper than anticipated. I asked the owner for an estimate. Never got an answer. The invoice was $3.2K more than we were told it could be, $9.2K! I refused to pay this the way the yard was left. I had to grade by hand & had to buy more dirt to fill low spots before sod. Owner dropped the cost 800. Nope. Finally came down after much discussion to $7425.00 & said he's losing money. Comical. I have tons of pics to show all of this. They also hit my house & damaged the siding & broke a valve box w/o telling me. Also $200 more to find the plugged sprinkler line from them getting mud in the line. I should send them an invoice for all of the work I had to do ??

I asked the owner to install new kit in the tank of my toilet. He sent his new employee out to do the job. The charge was a little over $150 including the $30 kit the best I recall. That was over a year ago. The job was not done correctly and I telephoned the owner twice afterward for him to fix it because I was having to manually fill the back of my tank with water. Although he promised to fix it - he never came by and he never called. Over a year later - I still haven't heard from him. I'm on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay that kind of money for a job that isn't completed correctly. Beware if you call him - he may not be able to fix the problem and he may not return to make it right, regardless of what he says.
