      I am infested with roaches and spiders the sprays not working I had get rid of some furnishings because of the matter I have called complain nothing working can't even sleep in my own bed cause roaches crawling on me cannot stand this my house not dity I can't e ven get much food to eat they go nuts this ***** it saddened me I cannot enjoy my home

      The letter regarding *************************** was received today-Monday, July 1, 2024.

      I looked in her account and the last work order that shows she was sprayed for roaches was on her annual recertification - September 2023. She has not called since then to be sprayed.

      KHA has contracted spraying every quarter. January-April-July- October.

      I called the maintenance director today at 11:12 a.m. and asked him to go over and check her unit for roaches. He called me back at 11:40 a.m. to inform me that:

      1. No infestation -- 2. A few roaches --- 3. No major nesting

      4. 1 live ***** --- 5. 3-4 dead roaches

      **************** was not home, so he left her a note to call so that he can come back and spray her unit.

      Attached is a screen shot of her work orders - when she has been sprayed for roaches since she has lived here.

      **************** has not called in a work order since her inspection in September **************************************************************** her file. Again - our units are contracted sprayed every 3 months.

      Maintenance Director went back and spoke with ****************. He stated that he asked her about the roaches, and she did not say anything. But he informed her that he will spray her unit on Monday, July 8, 2024.

      ****** pest control will spray all the units - July 9, 10, 11. Her unit always gets sprayed every quarter.

      I previously stated in this housing 2014 and moved out in 2014 I am being scammed to pay 583 for damages that never existed due to I was lockout of my apt due to previous landlord connected with a rental place for furniture and they changed the locks and wasn't able to get in the apt unless a maintenance came open door I am seeking a dispute to file against for charging for unknown damages that was never committed on my behalf or view any damages before leaving unit any damages made maintenance comes out and we are charged and have to pay before time I owe no charges ...

      In reference to **************************************************** complaint regarding her maintenance charges:

      **************** did not report in a timely manner that she was working.  Tenants are to report within a two week window that they are working.  She reported on December 13, 2013 that she was working at Heritage Nursing Home.  She however, had started working there in September 2013.

      Once the interim was her income done, it was established that she owed $777.00 in back rent.

      So the $521.00 that she owes is for: (not the $583.00 that she informed your dept)

      Back Rent:                    $399.00

      Late Fees:                        43.00

      Work Order Charges:        35.00

      Move Out Damages:         44.00

      Total:                          $521.00

       

      **************** moved out on May 27, 2014.  She did not give the required 15 day notice at the office or turn in any keys - as required.

      **************** also left items that were Rent To Own items, and we let them come and get their stuff with a required signed items sheet.

      She came back June 3, 2014 to pay the required $20 to get back in the unit to get her items.

      As  you can see she was only charged $44.00 for her moveout damages, not $583.00.
