  I hired him to do my tax without reading the reviews, from January till June of 2023 he hasnt done the 2022 taxmeanwhile he hires my company to do his basement floors and out of the blue he didnt didnt have money to pay me (just little over $3k) a father of 5 kids, who choose to live in Kirkwood but not somewhere cheaper after my job is done, he comes to me and say I DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY YOU, I HAVE TO PAY WITH WORK (exchange jobs) which, I was ok with, except it took 3 almost 4 weeks for me to get paid, after my work as done BUT he wanted to get paid right away so why should I wait when he couldnt ? On top of that he charged me 3 hours of $250 hour to ONLY DO FILLING FOR EXTENSIONS !!! Really he thinks Im dumb to trust it takes him 3 hours to file for a simple extension (something he knows very well how to do) ??? and yes he deducted the $750 from my check without my approval even after waiting 4 weeks for me to be paid after my job was done, when his hasn't even started since January . This guy is a scan, super expensive and very but very slow so he makes his money at $250 hour by building hours and not proving that either I got fdbut please dont hire him u will pay the high price as well!

  The inaccuracies and untruths in this complaint are almost too many to list.  I was approached by ********************* to prepare his 2022 tax returns.  I informed him up front my hourly rate and an estimate as to the total cost.  I mentioned to him that I needed flooring installed and he sugessted we swap services.  Approximately a week before the floor was to be installed I again requested documents that I needed to prepare his return.  I had filed extensions for both his business tax returns and his personal tax returns.  When I finally received some of the requested documents I started to prepare a trial balance in order to complete his tax returns.  Between phones calls, trial balance preparation and extensions I had 3 billable hours of work.  

  I had originally requested that ******* do an entire floor installation for which we were going to swap services. Due to framing not being completed with approximatey 1/2 of the proposed job, I asked that only 1/2 of the floor be installed.  

  Upon completion of 1/2 of the original job, ******* demanded payment.  I mentioned that it was his idea to swap services.  He said that since I only went through with 1/2 of the original proposal that he now changed the job and did not want to swap services.  

  I paid him in full less my billable fee of 3 hours of my time.  I do have 5 children and I do live in Kirkwood, both of which have no bearing on anything reported by ******* and the BBB should not allow personal attacks be posted in a complaint.
