    Spoke to Storelocal last month about canceling my unit / that I have never used - now my account has overdrawn because of another $88 charge!PLEASE CANCEL!

    It is clearly stated in our lease agreement which was signed and acknowledged by the renter that we require 14 days notice IN WRITING to end lease agreement. We would be happy to refund any charges that accrued if renter will provide documented proof of written contact to end lease agreement. Typically renters will contact us via Email which is date and time stamped to provide all parties with clear records of any changes in lease. We are not able to find any such records in our system. As a courtesy we have closed ****************** agreement on November 2, 2024 when he contacted the office via phone call, as noted in our management system.

    Mr. ****** contacted the office on November 2, 2024 to demand a refund stating he never used the rental space. Our lease agreement clearly states that 14 days notice in writing shall be required to end the monthly lease agreement. no such documentation is in our system, if Mr ****** will provide such documentation we will happily refund the $88 monthly charge. Mr. ******** lease agreement has been closed as of November ****** and will not be billed for any further charges.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

    THAT IS TOTALLY FALSE! AND I HAVE THE TEXT MESSAGE EXCHANGES! I did not demand - as stated - I politely requested that my storage unit be closed because I never used it. The conversation was VERY cordial and amicable until the payment was taken! Then I became upset because the agreement - by management - to close (November 2, 2024) was negated.

    Therefore, since the statement, in part, was used that I demanded, I will now refute the $88 charge with my bank as fraudulent / since the charge was done without my authorization - and additionally, this management behavior just created a ****** and Yelp review!

    Dont get upset with me - advocating for myself! Get upset with taking a reasonable and sane approach to the complete opposite of what actually happened.
