    They are trying to get us to bend our equipment because of electrical problems that the property is having and if we don&#**;t do it they are going to let us out of our lease. They are trying to let us out of our lease instead of fixing the electrical problems. I want all the electrical plug ins in the house repaired.

    This person kept complaining about the electricity not working.  I had sent the maintence crew over twice before and they found nothing.  This time I told my guy to check it out and he called and said she says if we dont fix it she is calling police.  I took another witness with me to also note the exchange.  I ask her what the issue was   she showed me that if she plugged her lamp in in 1-2 seconds it would fall back out.  I told her if she would just spread her plug prong just a fraction it would be loose.   She began to tell me she would not destroy her appliances because I failed to fix the outlets.  I said what else you got not working.  She took me to a hall way that the lower part of the outlet was not working  I advised my maintence man to fix it.  Then she said there were a couple of others that were loose.   I said I wont fix things that arent broken.  She also complained about a dishwasher not anchored good and my maintence guy did fix that.  THen she said she wanted all of the outlets fixed or replaced.  I said Im not doing that then she told me she would call the police.  I wont be bullied into repairs that are unnecessary.  The apartment is a 20 year old apartment that is compliant with all city codes.  The issue was she was refusing to spread her lamp cord prong by a papers width to make it stay in   She was on a month to month lease.  I have every right to give her a 30 day notice and I did so.   I also included statements from my staff that was involved as well    She said I lied to the attorney general when I said she got Irate.   To me no one is going to call the police unless they are irate.  She did not yell she just stated the threat.  I make sure my properties pass city inspections and when I find something that needs repaired I repair them.
