      Business Response

      Date: 02/24/2023

*** ********  We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your
experience at Rockhill Women’s Care.  Our
goal is to provide great customer service in all areas of the business.  After review of your account, we would like to provide the
following summary of your account from May to December.  You were mailed a total of 4 paper billing
statements providing you with information regarding your balance due and how to
make payments.  You contacted our office
in July asking if we were in network with your secondary insurance and you were
informed that we did not participate with your secondary insurance.  You then set up payment arrangements and we received
two payments toward your balance due.  Unfortunately,
the card on file declined in September.  Our
office notified you via phone that your card declined, but we did not receive a
      response.  Your monthly payment declined
again in October, which made your payment arrangement null and void.  You were mailed a letter stating that without
payment, your account would be sent to an outside collection agency and would
      subsequently discontinue your care.  We
did not receive further response from you to make a payment or provide new card
information, so you were sent a termination letter in December.  It is our policy that if we do not receive any response from
the patient following multiple attempts to contact regarding a balance, then we
submit the balance to an outside collection agency.  It is also our policy to discontinue care once
a patient account has been submitted to the outside collection agency. You indicated that your desired outcome from making this complaint
was “correction to a credit report”.  In
order to best assist you with achieving your desired outcome, you will need to
contact the collection agency and make payment on the balance due.  The collection agency is *** * ********** and you can make a payment online or call to make payment.  Their website is: *************************************  As a privately owned business, we are able to provide a very
generous length of time for patients to pay their balance before involving an
outside collection agency or discontinuing care.  Our office made multiple attempts from June
to December to assist you with making payments toward the balance due for
services rendered in May.  We wish we
could have had the opportunity to continue your care.
