    Got a new 11K unit through them 3 years ago and have paid for more service call fees and replaced more parts on it in 3 years than we ever did during the entire life of the 25 yr. old unit it replaced. Has had questionable readings since second season it was used. We have been without air, had to find places to stay during the hottest days of the summer why we wait for a a service call tech, and have argued at length to get the warranty we paid for even though they acknowledged they were wrong....And we continue to pay their 80$ service fee each season and worry about a basically new unit. The only suggestion we get is to upgrade to their yearly service fee. We were also basically told the unit they sold us got 're-done' at the end of the year we purchased it due to issues like the ones we are having. Trying very hard to get someone in management to assess this unit and situation, as it seems a little suspicious....like they kind of know we were sold something they knew had issues and would need continued service. So bummed that a business would do this.
    It's incredibly stressful to constantly be worrying about turning on a new unit you just paid 11K for and thought would be an upgrade. An HVAC unit is one of the most expensive and necessary investments you have to make in your home and I feel they sold us a known, sub-par product and now we will forever be at their mercy because of the warranty...which still doesn't make it worth it. I have lost some trust here. I really do not like to take the time to leave anything but positive reviews, but as of now with this company, the review is like the experience with them thus far....unfortunate and negative. I suggest going with another company and their products, even if their estimate is slightly more. I know I wish we had.

    Climate Control has been servicing ** for over 20 years 2 furnaces, and 1 AC. They also did our maintenance of these products. With our last one still under warranty as of Aug. 23 it would begin the 9th year, the tech that came to service the ac which was under a maintenance contract that they sold us, and bang he said we had a cracked heating element, and the ac was on its last leg both still under warranty. They recommended, sold, installed, and serviced these units. Also the tech disabled my furnace. This was discovered by us trying to check if the heating element was indeed cracked, by using a carbon monoxide detector, so the man here giving us a bid fixed that so we ran the furnace and no alarms. They didn't clean the fan that they showed us was dirty. Did nothing but try and get us to purchase at double the price a new furnace and ac. I discovered that we have been overpaying for years. We are truly disappointed by Climate Control every time we see a prime time advertisement on tv, we realize this is what we are really paying for. Shop around you can get quality elsewhere for a lot less. They would have changed the heating element that was under warranty for more than half of what we paid to replace both with a different company. Will never recommend them to anyone. There ******** page doesn't allow commenting or I would share there as well.

    On 5/3/2023 our technician found a crack in the heat exchanger. Per our insurance carriers direction, he shut the furnace off due to the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning. Climate Control does not build the product, we are simply a service provider. Once we find a crack in a heat exchanger we follow the safety first policy. Yes it is entirely possible that you can run the furnace and never have the issue of ** in the house. We are not willing to take that risk, of someone not waking up after a long cold night of furnace run time. We totally understand your frustration. Looking at the option sheet it appears he did offer you the choice of replacing the heat exchanger along with the option of replacing the entire furnace. 

    We are glad to hear that you have installed a ** detector, and wish you a safe and healthy home. Please pay close attention to the details as some ** detectors do not pick up low lever ** readings. We say this not to scare but to simply advise you, so you know what the potential risk may involve. Long term exposure to low levels of ** can be very detrimental to your health. 

    We will issue a full refund for the maintenance agreement for this year.

    I've been dealing with Climate Control Heating & Cooling, **** for several years now, ie: a minimum of 6(?) service visits. I've always received excellent service from every technician they sent to my home. From their professional approach, until the time they leave. Booties in hand at the front door to protect my floors, always polite and respectful, they thoroughly explained their service during their visit. I've never felt they were trying to replace something that didn't need to be replaced, which has built my trust in their recommendations.Truly, they've exceeded my expectations, and I have found them to take care of all my furnace and A/C unit needs very well. I would be quick to recommend them to my friends and family.
