    Glassferd Windshield Replacement was recommended by my insurance company, we had never had a windshield replacement before so we looked at the reviews via Google and decided to go with Glassferd. The gentleman that called on Monday January 30th, 2023 said he would come by Thursday February 2, 2023 to look at the windshield and we would go from there. He also mentioned that brand new cars such as ours had to be done in the shop due to calibration. Once he got here to our house on February 2nd he just started to work on the car, I told him several times that this doesn’t feel right and that I thought it had to be done in the shop, he kept saying we do this all the time. I have been doing this for 10 years. He proceeded to work on our car. At the end when he was finished I inspected the car and there is multiple damages inside and outside of our car and the windshield is not properly installed. I tried to contact the business but the same guy answers each time as says the manager is unavailable. I have pictures of before and after. This kind of business should not be working on peoples windshields, all we want is it done right and for them to take responsibility for the damages.

    Regarding a complaint number ID# ******** I have included the vehicle inspection and also a video of the work when it was done. As you can see the windshield was a perfect fit and the paper inspection we do before even getting started on the vehicle. She paid $0 out of pocket. We also sent those videos and paper to her insurance. Also the insurance work order will write calibration needed if they do they are additional $350 to $400 if the insurance doesn’t have that written we do not do calibration unless written on the work order from insurance. In this situation there was none needed. The lady was harassing the technician and wouldn’t let him work she kept getting in the technicians work van and kept saying is this a new windshield why is this different then the original. Our technicians know what windshield are needed based on the vehicle  vin number. She just wants to complain so she can get some money of some sort. We would appreciate it if she stops harassing us for something we didn’t cause and falsely accuse the technicians.

    I am rejecting this response because: Everything Glassferd has mentioned is untrue. My deductible was 0, but my insurance company paid this company a little over 900, leaving me with 3500 worth of damages, and get new a new windshield because you used the wrong kind of glass on my car, it’s 2022. All I wanted was a job done right. I asked the gentleman to stop in the first place bc the job was supposed to be done in the shop as discussed on the phone. Lots of lack of communication. I expect for a job done right now to tear up my car in the process, and have to get a new windshield. I do not want this company touching my car nor anyone’s car, I want you to take responsibility. Of course if you back way way back its going to look wrote but get yo close and see all the damage you did, yet you can’t take responsibility for it. I don’t want your money. When I asked you not to leave when I started to find the damages, why did you just leave? Because you know you did wrong. I have all of the before and after, I have two estimates from shops stating all the damages. It’s a shame, a true shame. Man up and take responsibility for what you did.

    Ma’am we are a MOBILE SERVICE I’m sure you knew that. As for the wrong windshield it looks like you are not a professional in that department we run a vin number of vehicles before ordering a windshield if it’s wrong it won’t fit in the first place. You were harassing my technician saying it’s a wrong windshield while it was still in the back of his working vehicle. As for the $900 that we supposedly got please make sure it’s true because we also have proof of that we didn’t even get $700 for it let alone over $900.  You stated that you bought the car with payment and told the technician that we cause over $7,000 Damage and now you are saying it’s $3500. We did a vehicle inspection which we sent to the insurance before working on the vehicle. We didn’t cause any damage. Thank you and have a good day.
