    Purchased Rockwood 5th Wheel ** in Feb 2023 for $51,878 from Quality RV which included $1500 for a second rooftop air conditioner. Notified Quality RV in Apr 2023 that ceiling trim and wall panels were damaged/crushed due to work on rooftop when installing the heavy air conditioning unit. Quality RV made an attempt in Apr 2023 to repair the ceiling trim onsite but the trim pulled away and did not hold. Sent follow-up photos showing that trim and wall panels were still in need of repair from damage that resulting from its work. Quality RV initiated warranty claim with ** manufacturer even though damage was not a manufacturer's defect. Quality RV wanted $400 to transport the ** back to its repair shop in order to do repair. We were told at the time of purchase that Quality RV had a mobile repair service to handle repair items in and out of warranty. Finally received 4 X 8 ft replacement panel from Quality RV in Apr 2024. Installing the panel would have required extensive cabinet removal and replacement along with precise panel cutting and trimming. During the Summer of 2024, less than one year from the time of this complaint filing, we eventually replaced the wall covering and trim with materials that we purchased on our own with an estimated repair cost of $400. We are requesting $400 from Quality RV to cover our material and labor from crushing damage as a result of Quality RV's negligent work and failure to properly repair the resulting damage.

    We appreciate the customer bringing this matter to our attention. At Quality RV, we take pride in delivering quality service and addressing any concerns that arise, even when complications fall outside typical warranty or manufacturer responsibilities.

    While we worked to provide support through both on-site service and coordination with the manufacturer, we understand the customer was unable to return the unit for the work to be completed. We recognize the inconvenience this caused and, in the spirit of customer satisfaction, have decided to reimburse the requested $400 to cover their material and labor costs.

    Our goal is always to ensure our customers are happy with their purchase and their overall experience. We will be issuing payment of $400 directly to the customer and consider this matter resolved.

    We appreciate the opportunity to make this right and thank the customer for their business.
