    I live in a apartment for disabled people. I had followed all rules and regulations for 3 years. I have submitted several work orders to my unit. The ceiling is bowed and is being temporarily held up by a 2x4 and 100 screws. The maint employee sis that and quite. My air conditioner was replaced with a smaller unit that does not cool the apt after maco putting in a unit 3 times and causing excessive electric bills still has not been fixed. The toilet was repaired by another maint person with zip ties. It broke and I had to replace the kit in order to have a working toilet because again employee quit or was fired. The refrigerator goes out and ruins all my food then after leaving it off for 24 hours starts cooling again for a while. Twice I lost major amounts of food. I have made over 10 requests to fix my unit. I keep being told they are hired another maint. Person but no one actual does work at clinton North Apts. I also have complained about excessive roaches. The neighbors have been inspected and bed bugs have been found in every unit except mine. The apt across from me has 3 inside closet doors stacked on top of each other and screwed to the wall of the front door because criminals have been in and out of that unit for years. That unit across from me suffered a fire and it has never been fixed. The criminal element is also a danger to handicap residents. Also I am not interested in allowing maint. People with felony criminal records in my unit. That has been a big issue as well.

    Upon review of the compliant received, I made contact with management on site to verify the information provided. I was advised that the information on the complaint was not fully provided in a work order which is required for maintenance and management to be aware of the issues. I have in prior in conversations advised **** ******** to turn in a work order to ensure these items are addressed. I have no knowledge of **** ******** needing a toilet repaired in the past as the steps to report these items are not being taken which has made it difficult for management to verify the needs of the individual tenant in this case. I also investigated the complaint regarding loss of food. We advise all tenants the importance of renters insurance. Her fridge was replaced when it went out, but all cost of losses would have been covered under a separate renters insurance policy as they are tenant items. 

    Pest control treats and inspects the property quarterly. We have no reports of bed bugs and have no report of pest control locating any pests inside **** ********** unit. If **** ******** has found pests in her unit it is imperative that she report this to management on site so that they can provide additional treatment through our pest control company. 

    We value our tenants and encourage them that they provide any concern in writing to our management so that we can address it and keep it on file. 

    We do have strict policies for employment, and I can assure that a background check is ran on all of our staff and I have no record of having any staff with a felony criminal record. If **** ******** has concerns about the staff on site, she is welcome to call our office so we can review any employee related concerns at a regional level.

    Moved april 3 from northcreek in independence mo.waited 2 mo.for deposit return after calling home office was sent 200 out of 600 called again for explaination told used to replace floor nothing at all wrong with floor.and lived there 4 years cleaning is a the other charge have pics was clean ??it have never not receive d my deposit back before

    Ms. ***** security deposited was used to replace the carpet from her dog urinating in the carpet. The carpet had to be replaced as the smell was in actual carpet padding and not just in the carpet. Ms. ***** was only charged for material and not the labor of the carpet as well.
