Brought my vehicle in to have camshaft and lifters replaced. When I dropped the vehicle off the only thing it was doing was squeaking. They called me to come get the vehicle and I was getting codes for low oil pressure. I was getting about half as much as I should be. I took the vehicle back and he told me that it was something that he hadn't touched and it wasn't his problem but I could pay more to have it fixed.I started to go back through the areas that he had gone through to make sure the job was done correctly. Almost immediately I found multiple bolts missing or not torqued down. I bought the bolts to replace one of the missing ones since it was on a gasket only to find that the bolt had been broken inside of the engine. I started with the smallest and easiest things to check. This isn't even diving into the full repair itself. There is no telling what he messed up internally.

The customer brought his vehicle in to have his cam and lifters replaced. The work was completed and the vehicle ran great after. The mechanic drove the vehicle when the work was completed and then put his scanner on it when getting back from driving it. There was no codes so then we called the customer to let him know his vehicle was ready to be picked up. We know that all the bolts were put back in and torqued down because it would not have drove good and it would have set off codes. Everything was good until the customer called the following day stating his oil pressure was low. We told him to bring it back and we would check to see what is going on. We did tell him if it was something we did we would take care of it. Upon checking it out we found the oil pump was bad and he would need a new one. The customer refused to have it fixed because he believed it was still from something we did. We told him several times to bring it back and he refused. We did this job over a year ago and we have heard nothing from the customer until now. If the customer wants it ************************ all he has to do is bring it back to us and we will fix it for him.

I am rejecting this response because: The mechanic did an extremely shotty job to begin with. When I brought the truck back I was told it was cylinder #7 afm causing the low oil pressure issue. I deleted the afm. Oil pump was never an issue beforehand and never brought up afterwards.

I had another mechanic install a delete plate to delete the afm products. Still had oil pressure issues. I will be contacting an attorney to deal with this.

    Sincerely,
