    We reached out to Marshfield Electric to request a bid for our upcoming construction project. While attempting to coordinate a suitable time for an electrician to assess and provide a quote, I communicated the need for a specific appointment slot due to concurrent consultations with other electrical contractors. Regrettably, the lady handling the phone exhibited discourteous behavior, stating, "Why are you seeking other quotes? We don't need your business if you're shopping for the lowest bid. Our rates would exceed those of other quotes you receive anyway." Such an approach to customer interaction raises concerns about the company's commitment to professionalism. It is important for any company to recognize that soliciting multiple quotes is a standard and essential practice when building your own home. The consistent discourtesy displayed by the individual answering the phone during our interactions further compounds our feelings toward this company. We've been told by several people that their bids have been almost double that of every other they received. Exercise caution in engaging with this business, as their unprofessionalism and potential for overcharging require careful consideration before giving such a place your money.
