    We hired this company to complete a remodel on our home. They were paid 100% of the invoices and did not complete all of the work. The list below is everything still needing done.

    Cabinet door in bathroom
    Exterior paint one more coat
    Mirrors (it’s still behind Halle’s dresser)
    Barn style door over closet in dining area
    Barn style doors over other closets
    Trim in island
    North outlets on island not working
    Wood fixed on island
    Sink dripping
    Shower water backwards and not very hot
    Ceiling fan in sun room


    I am happy to provide the invoices and anything else needed as well.
    He quit showing up in October and quit answering calls and messages in December. He took all of his tools in October for what he claimed was for another job he was doing on the side and would be back the next Monday. He never came back. I gave some extra time due to the Holidays. He also took doors and various supplies we purchased that were to stay here.

    The intent was to resolve all the items on the list that were on the original contract but due to further cost on additional items on the remodel the estimate was for the original scope and not for the unforeseen cost of additional items.  If they would like to pay for the work done outside the original scope of work then I would be happy to take of the items that are remaining on their list that was on their original scope.

    I am rejecting this response because:



    Every time he asked for more money we gave it to him. He quit showing up after the final payment was made. There was more than one occasion that he notified us of something going over budget. In those events, we made adjustments to the plan  and additional payments as requested by him.

    I bought a house to have it rehabbed. The house is on *** **** *** ********** **. I took out a loan to have the house rehabbed. I paid ***** *. $2000.00 to rehab the house. We went through the house to do an assessment. The repairs were $2000.00 that's what was in the contract. I asked him to take picture of things that were done, and he never got back to me. ***** stated that he did some of repairs. I have given him all the chances in the world to come and fix it. I asked him to put a hose bib on the water heater, and he stated that we do not put hose bibs on the water heater. I would like to know what he has done and I would like pictures or if he he hasn't fixed everything that he said then I want my $2000.00 back. That is a breech of contract.

    If they want something more they have to pay for the additional work.  There is stuff that I did that I have not been paid for.  They are not clear about their objective.  They are trying to get more out of people then what the contract states.
