    I interviewed with this company for a marketing position. First and foremost, I totally respect the family business being more relaxed with the hiring process, as they don't have several departments or processes in place. When I went to interview for the position, it seemed to be going okay at first. He (the owner) started to explain that they have had trouble finding people to hire so the process may take longer for me to hear back. He then proceeds to say "somehow over the past year me and my wife have managed to completely miss during the hiring process that we hired disabled people. With this job, anxiety and disabilites such as that just get in the way." He then proceeded to tell me that because of that he has to be careful of who he hires, and said he assumed I don't struggle with those things trying to get me to say whether or not I have a mental disability. I did not respond to the statement, but to be quite honest I do have ADHD and anxiety, and can still work successfully. This was fully discriminatory towards disabled people and a violation of my privacy as I did not choose or have an option to choose whether or not to disclose that infomration about myself. I wanted to share this so that hopefully this gets resolved.
