Sales person rang doorbell in a no solicitation area. Told me he was a local company and he had extra chemicals on his truck from doing a job on the next street over. Said he typically charges $215 to do all the spraying for bugs. Would give it to me at 1/3 the cost $75. I agreed. He said he would call or text when he was done with the other job and heading over. Over 5 hours went by. When he called I was away from the house. I said I will be home soon but has not heard from him in a long time. Turns out he signed my contract for $189/month and told me it would be $75. When I arrived home he had provided the service he said. He took my credit card information over the phone with his accountant she was going to charge the amount the next day since it was after hours. I asked for a receipt but they said it would be emailed. I got the email 2 weeks later and saw the charge for $189. I called them and asked why the extra charge. They said this was an error. They also said they could not get a hold of me. Turns out this is not a local company its a large enterprise that uses cheap sales tactics to lure customers in. I tried to cancel my services with them since they lied to me but that will also cost extra since I had a service contract. I told them I never signed a service contract. What service contract do I have? They sent me this phone contract signed by a ************** is not my signature. What a horrible company. I think this is called fraud!

Thank you for reaching out. Our records show that the full service agreement, including all terms and pricing details, was electronically delivered to ********************* on May 5, 2025, the day of enrollment. As part of our verification process, a two-step text message confirmation was also sent and must have been completed prior to initiating service.
If you believe the agreement was signed fraudulently, we take that claim seriously. To begin an internal review, please send a photo of your government-issued ID displaying your signature, or another document that includes a verifiable signature. This will help us compare and validate the electronic signature on file.
We remain committed to resolving this matter fairly and appreciate your cooperation in the verification process.

    Complaint: *****************************************************************************************************************************************************

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

The phone verification was not an agreement to a contract or price. It simply verified my phone number and that I was verifying an appointment for that day. There was no price included on the *** or contract. If there was I would have known that the sales person left out many details and forged my signature.

I will not provide my ID to a company that has already forged documents. As of now its a poor attempt of the company to copy my signature but after sending my ID they would have my actual signature. A law enforcement officer can compare their contract and my government ID if they would want to go that route.

    Sincerely,

    Will ****

Dear Mr. *********** appreciate the opportunity to clarify. The 2-step phone verification you completed is not the service agreement itselfit serves solely as confirmation that you understood the terms reviewed with you at sign-up, including the agreement which was e-signed and emailed to you. That verification, which includes your affirmative response by text, is a regulatory compliance step confirming consent before services can be performed.
Your signed service agreement is the governing contract, and it was already submitted to the BBB as part of our response. This document would not be forged, and we are not able to alter or copy a customers signature.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

The salesperson said it was only used to confirm the appointment. What he discussed with me was no where near what this falsified agreement said. If the text message had said I accept the service contract, I would have questioned what service contract it was referring to. The sales person lied and mislead me. The text verification was vague enough to make his explanation seem legitimate. I would not have responded to the text if I know it would lead to this mess.

    Sincerely,

So please explain to me how responding 1 to a verification text binds me to a contract that I didnt sign. They forged my signature and after seeing the incorrect charge on my credit card posted Im past the cancellation point of a contract that I didnt sign. This is fraudulent therefore the contact can not be fulfilled since I didnt sign not sign it. Replaying 1 to the message in which the sales person told me was a verification text that is sent standard but doesnt apply to me except to verify my phone number.
