Cracked my windshield and would not admit fault. **** Was rude about it, and only paid for half of the windshield replacement.Additionally, last time I had something fixed I had to take it back again twice due to not fixing correctly. So three total visits for the same issue that was not fixed correctly. They did not take the time to verify the repair. Overall just an awful shop.

*****,Im sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with Bobs Transmission. Ive worked closely with your wife for over 10 years, and its always been my goal to provide reliable service when she needed it.Regarding the windshield, the timing of the cold snapjust as the temperature dropped to 27 degreeswas unfortunate. A windshield chip can expand and crack under cold stress, especially when the temperature changes dramatically. Thats why we always recommend addressing windshield chips before the cold weather hits. While we do take pictures of all vehicles when they arrive, its difficult to capture a chip in a photo. After speaking with the technician who worked on your vehicle, he confirmed the crack was already present when the car was brought into the shop. We never drive customer vehicles without first completing diagnostics or if necessary during ************** a gesture of goodwill, since ****** has been a loyal customer, I offered to repair the windshield at cost, splitting the $340 bill. Regarding the repairs, I want to clarify that weve worked diligently on your vehicle. In May, we identified a coolant leak, but you chose not to fix it at that time. Then in August, when you brought the car in for a dead battery, I charged the battery at no cost to you and once again mentioned the coolant leak. You eventually decided to address it. However, when you returned with a new coolant leak, we took care of it promptly. Coolant can often find the next weakest point, which is why its important to monitor closely. When the engine light came on after the repair, we immediately diagnosed the issue and found the aftermarket part was the culprit. We replaced it with a genuine dealer part and didnt charge you for the price difference, once again absorbing the additional expense.Ive always tried to be fair and accommodating, and I truly feel that the one-star review is not reflective of the care weve taken. Im sorry that were parting ways over a $170 difference, but I hope you find a repair shop that better meets your needs.

Was referred to ***'s for possible transmission replacement and was given estimate of $4500. But instead of taking advantage of an elderly woman, they only had to replace feed tubes for around $300!! Also was able to fix problem of oil light sporadically coming on. ***** at front desk was very kind and patient, and I couldn't have asked for better customer ********************** from entire staff.

I took my car here to have a cracked oil pan replaced. The customer ********************** is terrible, particularly the woman who answers the phones. I suspect they have more work than they can handle because they take days to just diagnose a problem. My oil pan was replaced, and it turned out that the bolts were not tightened (so there was still oil pooling) and the plastic shield under my car half fell off. When I took it back to get it fixed again, I was told the mechanic who originally worked on it had been fired. No apology. No eye contact when handing my my keys. The woman at the desk had an attitude and basically tired to justify their business by saying they wouldn't be so busy if they were a bad shop. Right. They're such a good job that it takes two days to get a diagnosis, they hire shoddy mechanics, and don't apologize when they make mistakes. Horrible shop. They might be good for their long time customers, but if you're new, don't take your car here. They won't prioritize you, and when the work finally gets done, it might be done very poorly.
