    This business is stating the I have a late charge, which is incorrect, I have statements to show proof that my account has been current. I pay on the 2nd Friday of each month and have been doing so for 6 month as of 5/10/24 and have never been told this information, now all of a sudden I am receiving a call about a $10 late fee. When I spoke with a woman at the location, she stated that she did not care what my bank or my proof says, and their records show I have a late fee, and then she hung up on me..

    On 10/23/2024  staff called ***** as she was still past due $10.46. Customer did in fact make a payment on 10/11/2024 however it was not a full payment. The payment amount per the signed contract is $114.23 and customer paid with a check in the amount if $114.00 as well as on 9/13/2024. The late charge came from the payment on 9/13/2024 as the check amount was $114.00. I did however, apply .50 to finish off both of the payment amounts for September and October to prevent another $10.00 late charge for October.  However, Courtesy Loans will not be waving the late fee as customer did not pay the full payment. Staff was trying to explain this to the customer when her husband took the phone and was yelling and cursing at the staff so the call was disconnected after she replied with, "your husband isn't going to speak to me like that."
