    Business is a maintenance facility for boats. I paid the facility to winterize my boat last fall then store over winter. This spring they said the boat was leaking water and they had to investigate why. The reason it was leaking was 3 freeze plugs had frozen. Thus the motor was damaged. Not only did they not winterize the boat and charged me for it. They charged me for maintenance this spring. Now the boat will probably need a new motor. Very shady deal on their part

    There were only two freeze plugs, not three as he indicated.  Those were replaced.  The motor was checked and it checked out fine.  The boat only experienced two days of minor freezing due to the customer not calling until after the freeze.  There is no bill for Spring maintenance.

    I am rejecting this response because:



    Superior Adventure center had possession of the boat weeks before the first freeze.  They for whatever reason did not perform the winterization in a timely manner.  They personally picked up the boat and I have phone records to prove the timing of the events.  Freeze plugs freezing out of the boat is damage to the motor in and of itself.  Not to mention the chances are high now that the block is cracked.  The boat has been retrieved from Superior Adventure center and taken to a reputable facility in a different city.  This facility will determine if the block is cracked.  If so Superior Adventure Center will be taken to court for damages.  Which includes charging for a winterization they did not perform.  Damage to motor and boat.  Loss of use for entire summer
