I would like to formally lodge a complaint against Numac regarding their failure to complete the scope of work as agreed upon in our contract. Despite numerous attempts to rectify these issues, the following points remain unaddressed:Initial Site Assessment: Numac did not conduct a comprehensive initial site assessment. This resulted in several unforeseen issues that could have been avoided with proper planning.Project Timeline:The agreed-upon project timeline was not adhered to. The work commenced late and subsequent phases were repeatedly delayed without sufficient explanation or valid reasons.Material and Equipment Provision:Numac failed to supply the necessary materials and equipment as specified in the contract. On multiple occasions, work was stalled due to the unavailability of essential tools and materials.Safety Measures:The required safety measures were not implemented. There were numerous instances where the worksite was unsafe for both workers and visitors, leading to potential hazards and violations of safety regulations.Quality of Workmanship:The quality of workmanship was subpar. Several aspects of the work were poorly executed, necessitating rework and additional costs to correct these deficiencies.Communication and Updates:There was a significant lack of communication from Numac. Regular updates on the progress of the project were not provided, and attempts to get in touch with project managers were often ignored.Final Inspection and Approval: A final inspection and approval of the completed work were never conducted, leaving several critical issues unresolved and the project in an incomplete state. These shortcomings have not only caused considerable inconvenience and financial strain but have also left the project incomplete. I seek the Better Business Bureau's assistance in resolving these issues and ensuring that Numac fulfills their contractual obligations.

I hired Numac Construction to do some work at my home in **********************. They did not complete the job they were paid to do and all of the work that was done, was done wrong and is costing me thousands of dollars to fix. I have more pictures and documents that I can send in another format as I'm unable to upload all of them here.

************** is leaving out the total bid for her project was $14,460 after deducting $100 for her shower installation and taking off the $250 dump fee. She paid us $10,000 on 3/6 to cover materials and a little labor with the rest to be paid upon completion. Her material cost was just shy of $8500.00 which I have every receipt for. I have attached some of the larger receipts. The floorer had been doing the tile work so we were waiting to come back in and finish our part after he had completed. He was about 80% done, then we had 1 full day left, buttoning up everything, such as touch *** on paint, caulking, installing trim, and cleaning up. ************** also forgets to mention that ***, my business partner told her 3/5/4 to not have the countertops installed until we had completed so we could move her cabinets and allow the flooring to go underneath her cabinets, however she had them installed 3/13/24, before we had started, so there was no way to move the cabinets so the flooring could be run underneath. It seems as if ************** knew the project was getting close to completion and is trying to get the entire project paid for, for free.

On ****************** list all the paint touchups were going to be completed on the final day. She had hired *********************** to do her painting, so she was planning on having her come back to paint the bathroom that her 60' shower had been installed in. That was never part of our bid. All sheetrock there and in the kitchen had been completed.

The outside lights, didn't have light bulbs, so that is why they were not working.

The hanging light/fan switches is a 30 second fix which would be done on the final day if we had been told about it prior.

All baseboards/trim were to be installed on our final day and caulked.

******* is a flooring professional, who does jobs for most of the larger contractors in ***************, who was doing the tile work. He would know how the floor is to be laid and if he can lay over existing flooring.

As mentioned in my original response, ************** had the countertops installed prematurely so the cabinets could not be moved. Countertops should have been the very last thing installed for the project and ************** had those installed by a different contractor, 3/13/24.

******* had not gotten to the fireplace area yet.

All refunds from the project would be deducted from the final bill which would have been given upon completion of the project.
