      Had them diagnos my vehicle and fix it and in the process of the repair they damaged my catalytic converter which was very expensive and caused my check engine light to stay on, after 2 weeks of calling about it every other day they kept saying they'd get back with me and never did until 2 weeks later when I called they finally said they would see if they could fix the issue , said the catalytic converter they had damaged was to expensive for them to cover the damage they had done and told me the damage they had done to it wasn't why the converter failed even though it didn't have a fault for converter being bad until after the had damaged the part

      Our Service Manager ********************* called *************************** and discussed the situation.  The check engine light on ****************** vehicle was a result of the catalytic converter getting antifreeze and excessive oil into it from the #4 cylinder of the engine having issues.  The engine sent excessive fluids into the exhaust and then into the catalytic convertor and this resulted in excessive heat in the converter and internal damages causing the check engine light to come on.  It was explained to ******************.  The **** on the exterior of the catalytic converter did not cause the check engine light to come on or the internal damage within the converter.  It was consequential damages resulting from the engine failure problems.  During the initial diagnosis of the engine problems the damage within the catalytic converter was not noticed or known at that time.

      ********************* offered a 30% parts and labor discount to replace the catalytic converter.  *************************** has accepted the discounted repair offer and the converter has been ordered.  Replacement of the converter are scheduled for Monday  August 26, 2024.

      We anticipate this being an agreeable solution for both parties on this situation.
