    Company had my review taken down on ******, and upon the notification, I took a look, and they had 6 new 5 star reviews within 5 hours. Paid 5500 for deposit, and blueprints took 5 months. Upon receiving build contract, it was EXTREMELY vague, and when my attorney revised build contract, they said they wouldn't abide to it and I would have to have another builder.Current builder is having issues pulling permits with blueprints I paid for.Avoid this scam

    We did not refuse a contract from their attorney. In fact, no contract was ever submitted to us for review or refusal. As stated in our Jan 2, 2025 email, we were open to reviewing a contract from their attorney. We later followed up on Jan 21 asking if they had one ready for us to review. On Jan 22, they informed us they had decided to move on based on their attorneys advice.We have the full receipts and emails for review if anyone would like.

    In her own words, the customer stated the following in an email dated January 22, 2025:Subject: RE: Status Update From: ****** ******** To: **** ***** (COO, Boss Hog Barndominiums)"Thank you so much for the opportunity you have given us. After reading reviews, our attorney reviewed the contract he suggested pulling away from your company. I do believe you can be really great and all the reviews are not valid, but your contract for building and paying up front $107,000 seems very risky." Silvie and ****** ******** This clearly shows that the decision to walk away was made on their end, and no contract was ever submitted to us for review or negotiation.

    This company should be investigated for shady practices. Yelp is filled with people who have lost thousands. Im down 7k from the disaster of working with them. They tried to overcharge me and thankfully the house didnt appraise. Even then, they tried to push for an *** loan to get their money. This company is a scam.

    ***** was in the process of getting a VA loan. The VA appraiser came back that the value of the land did not appraise for the amount he needed for his loan. The lender offered to try through *** so they could still build their home. We do not have the authorization to make those decisions as we are not a lender. ***** received the blueprints he paid for on November 25th, 2024. Unfortunately we do not have control of the appraisers and how they pull their comps in order to get the value. If anyone should get this review it should be the VA as they are the ones that hire the appraisers that do not know how to value the land a customer is purchasing. We let ***** know if he did find land that would appraise for more he could use the blueprints at anytime as the do not expire.
