    We signed contract with owner of All Family Improvements LLC. on 12/29/22 to build new deck , and paid deposit $1500.00 same day, and they cashed the check on same day. They made several commitment by saying will get things done by certain date during contract execution, but never get anything done. Tried to follow up with them via email or text many times, but still no changes. We don't see any progress on the project in about 40 days since the date contract signed, have to terminate the contract on 2/11/23. We requested refund of deposit as per paragraph 8 in contract, they agreed to pay back, but never received any payment from them as of today. This company or responsible person can not be trusted.

    Signed a contract on March 12, 2023 with ******** ******* ** *** **** **** ** ****** ***** ****** ****** ******** ****** The contract was to check the level of the deck and shim or sand as needed, price $600.00. Gave ******** ******* check #1077 for $300.00 as a down payment for the work.
    AFMI was scheduled to show up on March 13, 2023, but they were experiencing vehicle problems.
    AFMI was scheduled to show up on March 14, 2023, but they were still experiencing vehicle problems.
    On March 14, 2023, AFMI showed up. They removed three board and part of the West rail. They claimed that four joists needed to be replaced to be in compliance with code. I was pressed for time, agreed to the additional repair for $1200.00. Gave ******** ******* check #5081 for $600.00. Total deposits now $900.00.
    March 14, 2023, I spoke to my partner is a license Architect and Code Consultant. Codes do not apply to repairs, only new construction.
    AFMI was scheduled to show up on March 15, 2023 to work. I sent them a text not to remove the deck board closest to the house and never received a response. They never showed up. I texted him to call me. No response
    On March 17, 2023, I received a text from ******** *******, claiming he had an infected wisdom tooth. He cashed the check on March 15, 2023. He did not call or texted me back.
    On March 19, 2023, I sent him a text to complete the work on the first contract. He responded by stating: “Yes we will be returning next week”.
    I checked the Missouri Secretary of State website for All Family Home Improvements, LLC status. It is not registered with the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office.
    On March 21, 2023, I sent him a text demanding the return of the second deposit since he did not start the work and the client is terminated it as per paragraph 8. I have not received a call or text since. Not trustworthy or a responsible person/company.
