April 7, 2023 My son car broke down in Columbia Mo and had to be towed to Mt. Grove Mo at $841.00 dollars.
Booger's Auto should of towed it my son only had the car sense Feb 25, 2023. We paid $2500 dollars. Now it's up to $3,300 with towing not tell the cost of repairs. As of today they had the car 3 weeks. Every time i called the phone ranged or went to voice mail so when we go down there never saw the car in the shop being worked on they were always setting down eating or playing cards today when i went in. asked about the car. ***** claim they had company come into town today asked were the car was he claimed he had to pull it out but will have it finish today at 4/28/23. Personally I think he should give us back or money and not charge us for repairs we are out alot of money. I know you get what you pay for but a month and three days we were expecting longer. I feel he should make this wrong right. That all I'm asking. I should not take # weeks to repair a car. Thank you very much ith this matter.

    Yours Truly, ****** ********

We sell all our vehicles with a 30 day word guarantee. Customer calls after the 30 day guarantee about the issue, our rollback is broke down and we told her to have it towed here so we could take a look and maybe help out. Customer states it will cost her $800 to have it towed to Mountain Grove from Columbia. We tell her about a towing company who would do it much cheaper but she decides to go with the expensive route. She has it towed to her residence instead of our shop, we have to go get it and bring it to our shop. We checked the vehicle out and find out the radiator blew out. Used vehicle with 135,000 miles, these things happen. We tell the customer we will help as much as we can. I call and get cheap used radiator on the way to help with keeping it cheap. I’m assuming the salvage yard forgot or couldn’t get ahold of one easily. 2 weeks later or so we finally get one and put the vehicle on our schedule. We work in a metal building and miss a lot of calls due to bad service. She always shows up at noon during our lunch. We put the radiator in the car to find out after it leaked all the coolant, customer kept driving until it burned up the head gaskets. Sometimes it’s cheaper to replace motor instead of a head gasket. We lost number for customer and they haven’t stopped by for us to tell them about this since we figured it out. We were willing to be nice and help. We are willing to bring car back to residence and eat the radiator/replacement/antifreeze. That’s all we’re willing to do. Vehicle runs and drives with no leaks, overheats after warming up due to head gaskets. We have a very good reputation around here and sell a lot of cars every year and have been in business for over 15 years. We believe talking first before going to the BBB is the best and we are always willing to help. I’m sorry for the issues.
