I received a car wash on Sunday,May 18th at approximately 3:30pm at the ************ location.I put my car in neutral per the car wash instructions.Near completion of the wash, the vehicle got stuck on the conveyor belt resulting in the car behind me to hit my vehicle continuously, causing significant damage.I honked my horn continuously for several seconds trying to get an attendants attention.I also tried to exit my vehicle and yell for someone, but the heat from the dryer was going to cause me significant damage if I were to walk up to the ********* I yelled for an attendant but again no one came out. I was frantically trying to put my car in drive, but the machine was not letting me out. After switching it between park neutra &drive the machine finally let me out after several attempts..The woman in the vehicle behind me and myself went into the gas station. We asked for a manager&they said there was no one on duty.We asked what to do about this situation and they said you guys are going to have to work it out between yourselves. Theyproceeded to give us a damage form to fill out.I asked for the managers name&they informed me that her name was ******.The next day I tried calling the store several times w/no answer. I drove up to the gas station where ****** told me that it was not their responsibility. She made the assumption that my vehicle was in park and it was not. I called to another country club car wash that is located in OFallon near the corporate office and they informed me that the conveyor belt was supposed to stop when it realized my car was stuck. I called the corporate office and spoke with *****, who hung up on me when I was trying to get a resolution to this issue. I called ****** at the ************ location two times & left messages with no return call. I called ***** back, left a message again, no return phone call.I called the owner of the car washes and left a message with the staff asking for a return phone call. No phone call returned.

We take all customer complaints seriously. After reviewing the video, the damage that occurred was the customer fault. We have shown the customer the video. i would like to submit video but the file is too large. Please let me know if there is another way to upload video file.

We took our car to the car wash and the emblem was ripped off as it was going thru the car wash. My husband went inside immediately to tell them about the damage.  He was given a damage claim form to fill out .  The form stated that if the damage was over 100 dollars we would need to get 2 estimates from different repair shops which we did. After we filled out the paperwork as they requested we were told we would get a call from the manager, which never happened.  Later we were told that since the car is over 5 years old they were not responsible for any damage caused by their car wash.  They claim they have signs posted all of which are not consumer friendly and the signs are not posted at the other locations. They did not tell us this until we filled out all the paperwork they requested.  No one even came to look at the car.  We sent them an official letter on August 27 as we were told to do so by the state of Missouri.  We have not heard back from them since. I have documents supporting my claim against them.

Mr ******* initially spoke to our manager who had him fill out our damage claim form.  That form not accepting liability, but rather to collect the customer's information so the incident can be reviewed.  Once the information was reviewed, it was determined that due to the age of his vehicle (over 5 years old), we are not responsible for his emblem falling off.  In addition, our wash is touchless so nothing besides water and soap came in contact with his vehicle.

We do have signs posted at this location, as well as our 4 other locations, that clearly list the items that we are not responsible for (see attachment).
