      over the pass 3.5 -4 years we had a vehicle with the loan through this credit union and from the start they stated that they never received the insurance documentation and was putting forced insurance on the vehicle when from the start we had full coverage on the and we never was provide the proper notification that they was putting the forced insurance so it took the loan we had and add a three thousand dollar charge for the insurance so we paid on this for the 3.5 - 4 year and it only should that we paid on the loan for 500-1000 dollars but with the addition of our payments over the years it was around ****** dollars we was having problems with the car under the loan so we was in the process of trading it and that's when we noticed about the insurance charges so I did the leg work to provide all the documentation to prove that we had insurance the whole time then they took off total of 7500 off our loan but when asked why it was only that much after the years of paying the loan they told us that the reminder was for interest and would not be receiving that back don't know why because the interest amount was on the insurance on the fixed interest rate loan. then after we got out of the loan with trading this car in they are calming the check that was delivered to pay the exceeding amount on the loan was short .52 cents and the same day that it applied to the loan before I could call they called me to inform me about that but this is where things went bad I am not on the loan app but my wife is so when they called me I told them who I was and then they processed to tell all the amounts of the personal info of the account to me when the whole time I have tried to get any info through the years they would not talk to me my wife had to be there. just this business has honestly jerked us around for the last couple year and it is not right and this is why I am writing to you so this don't happen to anyone else and hopefully could help us recover any other money

      WCCU reached out to the member and agreed on a resolution.  WCCU calculated the interest charged to the member on forced placed insurance.  The member was refunded $1099.37.  The member stated that she was satisfied with the resolution.  Please contact me if you need additional information.

      This company failed to reimburse me for fraudulent charges on multiple occassions. A fraudulent $20 charge was disputed formally with this credit union, including physically mailed hard copies requested yet they have failed to remove the fraudulent charge even though the movie theatre in another state already acknowledged the charge was not valid. Additionally I reported a duplicated atm charge today and they adamantly refused to remove the fraudulent charge.

      We did give him credit on 11/30/23 for $20.00 which is what he had the claim for. This is the only dispute he has had with us.
